Agriculture: Clarinval, “we modified the CAP in three months respecting farmers’ demands”

“The member states have approved the revision of the CAP, the idea is to make it more pragmatic and simplify bureaucracy for farmers,” said Belgium’s Agriculture Minister David Clarinval, summing up Belgium’s work during its six-month presidency at the EU Council. “We met farmers’ demands in record time, in less than three months,” he added.
