Red Sea: Borrell, “In less than two months, 68 vessels escorted and 11 attacks repelled”

This was stated by Josep Borrell, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, during a press conference updating on activities to restore maritime security and freedom of navigation in the Red Sea. “Certainly for the Houthis, there is a connection between the attacks they carry out and the war in Gaza. We only want to ensure freedom and security in navigation and hope to have the situation under control so that it does not expand to a broader geographical area.”
